Friends of the Earth Cardiff

I built a new site for Friends of the Earth Cardiff on drupal 5.

Features include e-mail newsletters, a calendar and a publishing workflow.

The site went live towards the end of 2008.

Katana-IT

This client was a recruitment company based in Amsterdam.

They required a multi-lingual website with dynamic content.

Of vital importance was the ability to maintain a searchable listing of vacancies, and the provision of a system to manage the transfer and storage of important documents such as candidate CVs.

I developed a completely bespoke solution for Katana-IT, including their multi-lingual website, and a system to enable candidates & clients to submit important documents over the web.

I also provided a system I developed to maintain and utilise a large e-mailing list.

All of the work I did for Katana was based on the LAMP platform.

You can read about Katana-IT's experience of working with mcdruid.co.uk in their testimonial.

Katana-IT are no longer trading, and their website is now offline.

Katana-IT on working with Drew Webber of mcdruid.co.uk

"Drew built our corporate website - katana-it.com - for us in early 2004. As we are an IT recruitment firm based in Amsterdam, we required a multi-lingual site, with dynamic content. For example, we wanted a searchable listing of vacancies on our site. We also required a system for managing documents, such as candidate CVs. Drew was briefed with our requirements via email and telephone and he quickly gained a full understanding of our needs. He delivered a prototype and a fully functional website within time and budgetary constraints.

We found Drew to be very easy to work with, and in particular appreciated his ability to make technological issues accessible to us as they arose in the course of designing and implementing our site. He maintained a focus on how the technology could best serve the needs of our business.

Drew delivered exactly what we required with a very rapid turnaround; a site where we can easily manage the content in both English and Dutch, and which allows us to manage important documents. We also feel it has the look and feel we wanted, and have had many favourable comments about the site from clients and candidates alike.

I would not hesitate to fully recommend Drew's services as a Web Designer and Consultant. We will without question be utilising his expertise for future development to our website."

An earlier incarnation of the site, which was also developed by mcdruid.co.uk was reviewed in Gibbons Stamp Monthly; they called the site ".. well designed and easy to browse.."

Supersonic Radar
